
Invisalign is often praised for being a more convenient and comfortable alternative to traditional braces, especially when it comes to oral hygiene. Since the aligners are removable, patients can brush and floss normally, which helps reduce many of the challenges associated with fixed orthodontic appliances.
However, even with a protective-looking aligner covering your teeth, it is still possible to develop cavities during Invisalign treatment. In fact, certain habits during treatment can actually increase the risk if proper care isn’t maintained.
