Our dental office staff, hygienists, dental assistants, and coordinators ensure that your dental visit is comfortable, informative and productive every step of the way. The dentists are incredibly proud to have them at Glastonbury Dental Associates and believe they will meet your needs. Lori, Office Manager
Lori’s career in the oral healthcare field spans over two decades so far, and she first joined the team at Glastonbury Dental Associates in 2007. She really enjoys her position her because she’s able to help patients better understand their treatments and build strong relationships with them over time. She also loves working alongside such excellent dentists and staff members!
Originally from Hartford, Lori hails from a small, tight-knit family. Outside of work, you can typically find her traveling or curling up with a good book.
An interesting fact about Lori: she really enjoys being on the beach in the wintertime.
Judy, Business Team
Judy has been a member of the Glastonbury Dental Associates team for well over five years now, having worked in retail management for 15+ years beforehand. The valuable lessons she learned about the importance of great customer service during that part of her life have been brought directly to our dental office, and she really enjoys being able to help patients feel comfortable through making sincere connections and providing high-quality care. She attended college in Massachusetts and is CPR-certified.
A Glastonbury native, Judy and her husband have four adult children and two grandchildren.
An interesting fact about Judy: She thrives on entertaining and fun travel adventures!
Lenore, Hygiene Coordinator
Lenore’s career in dentistry extends well over a decade so far, and she loves the people she works with here at Glastonbury Dental Associates. As a Hygiene Coordinator, she is committed to assisting our patients with maintaining their overall health by helping them schedule convenient appointments while successfully juggling all of their other commitments.
When she isn’t busy at work, Lenore spends her free time gardening, going on runs, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
An interesting fact about Lenore: it’s her wildest dream to one day move to Florida and work for Disney!
Sarah, Patient Coordinator
Sarah’s career in the dental field covers almost two decades, with over half of them spent right here at Glastonbury Dental Associates. Originally working as an assistant, she has taken on many more responsibilities over time, including billing, scheduling, and maintaining patients’ accounts. She regularly attends continuing education courses through the Connecticut State Dental Association in order to keep up with the latest developments in oral healthcare. Her favorite part of this job is being able to help patients better understand their treatment, as well as easing their frazzled nerves by answering any questions they may have.
Sarah is from Hartford, she’s married with two children, and has a dog at home. Her biggest hobbies include spending quality time with her family, going camping, and lounging at the beach.
An interesting fact about Sarah: she is fluent in Portuguese and loves being involved with the local Portuguese community!
Laura, Certified Dental Assistant
Laura first became a dental assistant in 1990 and has been working at Glastonbury Dental Associates for over two decades. Originally from the Enfield area, she is certified in CPR. What she enjoys most about her work is both the patients and the other team members! She always enjoys hearing about everyone’s children, pets, and vacations during appointments.
When she isn’t busy at work, Laura enjoys spending quality time with her husband, traveling, walking, practicing photography, and learning about history. She’s also a big animal lover, and has 2 cats!
An interesting fact about Laura: she once took a tour of Downton Abbey!
Yajaira, Dental Assistant
Originally from Hartford, Yajaira studied dentistry at the Porter and Chester Institute in Rocky Hill and has undergone extensive training with the iTero scanner in conjunction with Invisalign treatment. She is also an ADAA member and is certified in CPR. Her career in the oral healthcare field covers over five years so far, and she really loves working with such a great team at Glastonbury Dental Associates, as well as providing high-quality patient care.
Outside of work, most of Yajaira’s free time is spent being a good mommy. She has a daughter who is autistic, and they have a lot of love, uniqueness, and laughter at home. Her personal hobbies include working out, cooking, watching movies, and listening to music.
An interesting fact about Yajaira: she’s very talented at drawing!
Mary S., Certified Dental Assistant
Mary has been working in the dental field since 1999, and she first joined the team at Glastonbury Dental Associates in 2007. She completed her education through the dental program at Windham Regional Technical School. Today, she loves her position because of the friendly staff members and also being able to perform different procedures every day for more variety.
Originally from Marlborough, Mary is happily married with three children and two grandchildren. When she isn’t busy at the dental office, she spends as much quality time up North as possible, snowmobiling, hiking, kayaking, and simply enjoying winter.
An interesting fact about Mary: she has a truck driving license and spends a lot of her weekends driving trucks for her husband’s excavation company.
Erin, Certified Dental Assistant
Erin first joined the Glastonbury Dental Associates team in 2010, helping with vital tasks like breaking down rooms, capturing X-rays, completing lab work, rescheduling appointments, and helping the dentists during procedures. She really enjoys working with such a great team and getting to use lots of new technology throughout each day. Her happy, hard-working nature makes her a great fit for the role!
Erin and her husband Bob have two children named Jack and Eva. When she isn’t busy with patients, her personal hobbies include reading, swimming, baking, and (of course) spending lots of quality time with her family.
An interesting fact about Erin: she actually makes her own bread!
Melinda, Certified Dental Assistant
Melinda (who also goes by Mindy) graduated from Porter and Chester’s Dental Assisting Program in 2012. She has advanced training in a wide variety of topics, including Invisalign, radiology, infection control, endodontic care, and CEREC same-day crowns. Glastonbury Dental Associates has definitely helped to further her education in all aspects of dentistry as well! Her favorite part of this job is being able to see how changing a patient’s smile can transform their life for the better.
Originally from East Hartford, Melinda and her husband have two sons. She loves being an active Sports Mom in her free time, as well as doing makeup part-time for weddings and other big events.
An interesting fact about Melinda: her biggest passion is being artistic and creative, whether she’s applying makeup or planning events!
Liz, Dental Hygienist
Liz earned her Bachelor’s degree from the Forsyth Dental Hygiene program at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Services in Boston, MA in 2010. In 2015, Liz received her Master’s degree in Dental Hygiene specializing in Public Health from Fones School of Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing in the field for over 10 years and joined the GDA team in 2019. Liz has loved working with such a compassionate and innovative dental team and looks forward to future experiences caring for her patients.
Along with being a dental hygienist, Liz has been teaching future dental hygienists at Springfield Technical Community College and Goodwin College for over 5 years.
When Liz isn’t at work she loves to keep busy checking out new restaurants, exercising at Orange Theory, traveling, and going on weekend adventures with friends, family, and her boyfriend.
An interesting fact about Liz: she recently adopted 2 kittens, Romeo and Elroy!
Stephanie, Dental Hygienist
Stephanie completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology and Psychology from the University of Connecticut, followed by her dental hygiene education at Tunxis Community College. She is also certified in local anesthesia and CPR. She first came to Glastonbury Dental Associates in 2017 and is very happy to be a part of our team. What she enjoys most about her position is being able to meet so many new people and feeling like she can make a true difference in their lives – no matter how big or small!
Originally from Colchester, Stephanie and her husband now live in Wethersfield. Outside of work, you can usually find her hanging out at the beach, reading a good book, snowboarding, and traveling as much as possible.
Megan, Dental Hygienist
Megan studied dentistry at Tunxis Community College and is certified in CPR and local anesthesia. She has been working in the oral healthcare field for a few years now and really enjoys getting to know patients so well over time here in Glastonbury, as well as helping them improve and maintain their smiles.
A Prospect native, Megan has a blended family with her partner Chris, their five children, two dogs, and two cats. Her passions outside of work include taking care of her garden and diving headfirst into home improvement projects.
An interesting fact about Megan: she was a stay-at-home mom for six years!
Lauren I., Dental Hygienist
Lauren earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of New Haven in 2010 and has been in the field for over 10 years. She joined the GDA team in 2016 and has loved creating relationships with her patients and making them feel comfortable at every visit. She is certified in local anesthesia and CPR.
Lauren and her husband currently live in Southington with their two sons, Luke and Logan, and their cat, Dunkin. Her hobbies include yoga, listening to country music, and she is a big New England Patriot’s fan! She loves spending her time with her family of all boys at their family’s beach house.
An interesting fact about Lauren: she has an identical twin sister – and yes, they can definitely read each other’s minds!
Carol, Dental Hygienist
Carol holds Associate’s Degrees in both Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene, and she first joined the Glastonbury Dental Associates team in 1999. She is an RDH with advanced training in infection control and CPR. Her favorite part of this position is being able to build such strong relationships with the patients over time!
An East Windsor native, Carol has a young daughter at home. Outside of work, her favorite pastime is hanging out with beloved family members and friends.
An interesting fact about Carol: she is passionate about volunteering and regularly serves underserved neighbors in need of important dental care.
Mary P., Dental Hygienist
Mary graduated from the Tunxis Community College School of Dental Hygiene in 1992, and she has been a member of the Glastonbury Dental Associates team for nearly 30 years. She is an RDH, as well as a proud member of the American Dental Hygienist Association. She loves working with such great coworkers and also being able to meet and help so many people on a daily basis. Teaching patients how to help themselves become healthier through good oral hygiene is so rewarding!
At home, Mary has a supportive husband and two amazing kids. Her personal hobbies include painting and landscaping.
Nicole, Business Administrator
Nicole is originally from South Windsor, CT! She completed her studies at Porter and Chester Institute, is a certified dental assistant, and has over five years of experience in the dental field under her belt. Since joining our team in 2020, she has loved helping each patient have a pleasant experience – from their first phone call to the moment they check-out at the end of their appointment.
Outside the office, you can find Nicole with her husband, Louis, and their dog, Marnie. As a family, they love going on nature walks!
An interesting fact about Nicole: she married her high school sweetheart after seven years of dating!
