Growing up around nurses and physicians, Dr. Scoles was intrigued by the healthcare field since he can remember. As you got over, he knew he wanted a profession where he could combine his appreciation of science and art. After completing his Bachelor of Science from Upsala College, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry. Since then, he has been committed to continuing education and his memberships in numerous dental organizations. This includes the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Connecticut Dental Association.
When he isn’t busy treating patients, Dr. Scoles is spending time with his wife, two children, and four grandchildren. In his free time, he likes to play golf, travel, and learn about ancient history!
Dr. Matthew P. Scoles
Growing up in Glastonbury, Dr. Matt always knew that he wanted to go into healthcare. Because of his love to work with his hands, he settled on dentistry. After completing his Bachelor of Science from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Since then, he has completed advanced training to provide CEREC crowns and become a certified provider of Invisalign. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
When he isn’t at the dental office, Dr. Matt is spending time with his wife, Sara, and his two daughters, Emilia and Molly. In his free time, he likes golfing, growing vegetables, cooking, and watching the Yankees. He also has a passion for SCUBA diving.
Dr. Elyse Sudhoff
Dr. Sudhoff’s mother was a dental hygienist for 35 years. During her senior year of high school, she decided to join the dental field herself. She earned her undergraduate degree and dental doctorate from the University of Connecticut. She has acquired many years of experience in sleep dentistry and countless hours of continuing education. Currently, she is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut Dental Association, and the American Academy of Dental School Medicine.
When she isn’t treating patients, Dr. Sudhoff is spending time with her husband, Adam, two children, Riley and Joseph, and their three dogs. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, gardening, and going to the beach.
Dr. Mark Desrosiers
Dr. Desrosiers wanted to be a dentist as long as he can remember! He has studied at both the University of Pennsylvania and Boston University. Today, he is a Board-Certified Endodontist and has studied at prestigious institutions, like the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He is also a Fellow of both the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists.
When he isn’t treating patients, Dr. Desrosiers is spending time with his wife, Susan, two children, and four grandchildren. In his free time, he loves skiing, swimming, hiking, and teaching.
