If you are looking for a new dentist in the Glastonbury, CT area, we would love you to call us and set up an appointment! Our staff are waiting to talk to you, an will gladly answer all of your questions and help you get set up for your first visit. When you first contact us, they will take down some basic information about you and help you find an initial appointment that works with your schedule. Once you’ve scheduled your first appointment at our office, we invite you to print and fill out the new patient forms provided here. This makes check-in easier and more efficient..

Our office strives to give you the highest quality of dental treatment possible though our patient centered approach to care. In our unique team approach, each doctor works closely in a team consisting of two hygienists, two dental assistants and one front office coordinator. This allows each team to personalize your care and make sure all of your questions and concerns are answered. At your first appointment, you will get to meet the doctor and team that will be taking care of you for years to come!
Your first appointment:
Your appointment will begin with a review of your medical and dental history to learn how to best care for you as a person. Your initial examination will include a full compliment of X-Rays (if you need them), and a detailed, tooth-by-tooth examination during which we chart the health of your teeth, restorations, and gums. We also will perform an a soft tissue examination that includes an oral cancer screening, and a detailed examination of the muscles and bones of your jaw joint (TMJ). Because a picture is worth a thousand words, we also use a special intraoral camera to take photographs of all of your teeth, so you can see what we see, and to help explain any problems you may have. On occasion, we may also take digital pictures of your smile, and make models of your teeth to help us plan your case.
Once we have all of the information we need, our dentists will take time to explain all of your treatment options and answer any questions you have regarding your treatment. It is our goal that every patient leaves our practice confidently understanding not only what they need, but why they need it. At Glastonbury Dental, we promise to provide you multiple options, and will never pressure you in any way. At Glastonbury Dental Associates, our staff is dedicated to helping you afford the care you need. Our staff is highly trained to help you navigate the sometimes confusing world of insurance, and we will file your dental insurance claims on your behalf. We are in-network with:

- United Healthcare
We will also file with your out-of-network provider as well.
Our staff will also work with you to establish affordable payment plans should you require extensive treatment. We believe the treatment we propose is important to your health, so we try very hard to help all of our patients afford the care they need.
