Marc Scoles, DMD
Dr. Marc Scoles received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1970 from Upsala College, in East Orange, NJ. He attended The New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry, School of Dental Medicine, receiving his degree as Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1974. Dr. Scoles postgraduate training included a year as General Practice Resident at Jersey Shore Medical Center, in Neptune, NJ and continues with an ongoing and regular commitment to formal continuing education.
Dr. Scoles is a senior attending in the Department of Dentistry with a teaching assignment at Hartford Hospital. He is also affiliated with the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine as a member of the Department of Behavioral Sciences, participating in the Mentor Program and the Seminar Program, Critical Thinking in Dentistry. Dr. Scoles is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Hartford Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.In 1975, Dr. Scoles established a general practice and in 1980, combined practices with Dr. Gary Garwood to form Glastonbury Dental Associates. Dr. Scoles has lived with his family in Glastonbury for over twenty-five years. During that time he has volunteered his time to Boy Scout Troop 34 as well as serving as a little league and soccer coach. He has been a long-time member and past president of the Glastonbury Chapter of UNICO National.
